Clinical Pharmacist - Washington, D.C

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. Ideal candidates will be available for more than the minimum of 3-4 shifts per week and have both weekday and weekend availability. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide pharmaceutical care to assigned patients under the supervision of a clinical pharmacist or manager. You will evaluate and interpret physician orders, dispense medication, and other pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with established operational procedures, professional standards, and state, district, and federal laws.

Essential Skills

• DC Licensed Pharmacist
• Hospital experience required
• Doctoral degree Pharm D. or equivalent pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Board certification upon hire preferred
• Registered Pharmacist Licensure in Washington, DC required
• Doctoral degree Pharm D. or equivalent pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy

Work Environment

Shifts include 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, and 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM (closing shift) from Monday to Friday. Must work one closing shift a week and rotate weekend shifts with hours from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. You will be part of the region's largest acute rehabilitation hospital, where you will work with highly specialized physicians and the latest technology to treat complex cases. The work environment focuses on quality patient care, rehabilitation research, education and training, assistive technology, and advocacy.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $62.00
