Job Description

This decentralized pharmacist position is based on the Medsurge floor of a hospital. The role involves order verifications, renal reviews, dosing, and patient education in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform order verifications
• Conduct renal reviews
• Administer appropriate dosing
• Provide patient education
• Support pharmacy operations
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols

Essential Skills

• Pharmacy degree (PharmD)
• Experience with order verification
• Proficiency in renal reviews and dosing
• Strong patient education skills
• EPIC experience
• Active CT pharmacy license
• Hospital experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior authorization experience
• Customer service skills

Work Environment

The position is based in a hospital setting. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The role requires working every third weekend from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with two days off during the week to accommodate the weekend schedule. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00
