Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to oversee prescription dispensing personnel and operations during their shift. The successful candidate will ensure the accurate preparation and compliance with applicable laws for all pharmaceutical products dispensed. This role involves final verification of non-sterile and sterile prescriptions, including proper packaging, assignment of beyond-use dates, final inspection of finished products, and providing proper directions for use. Additionally, the Pharmacist will train, coach, and counsel technicians performing non-sterile compounding and may participate in the shipping and handling of prescription orders. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prescription dispensing personnel and operations during shift.
• Ensure proper technique, accurate preparation, and compliance with applicable laws for all pharmaceutical products dispensed.
• Perform final verification of non-sterile and sterile prescriptions, including proper packaging, assignment of beyond-use dates, final inspection of finished products, and providing proper directions for use.
• Train, coach, and counsel technicians performing non-sterile compounding.
• Participate in the shipping and handling of prescription orders when needed.

Essential Skills

• PharmD degree
• Retail pharmacy experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
