Job Description

We are seeking an experienced phlebotomist to join our team at a patient service center. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using straight needles for a majority of blood draws and able to use butterfly needles for difficult sticks. This role is perfect for those who enjoy a change of scenery and in-state travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles for difficult sticks.
• Conduct blood draws on infants and pediatric patients.
• Process blood samples accurately and efficiently.
• Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort during blood draws.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques.
• Experience with straight needles.
• Experience with pediatric and infant blood draws.
• At least 2 years of experience in drawing blood is ideal, but less experience may be considered.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in processing blood samples.

Work Environment

This position involves working at a very small patient service center with a shift of 30.5 hours per week. The hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 1pm, with every other Saturday from 7:30am to 1:30pm. The role does not require working on holidays or vacations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00
