Job Title: Phlebotomist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you will be drawing blood at a patient service center, utilizing straight needles for the majority of blood draws and butterfly needles for difficult cases.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws using straight needles for most procedures and butterfly needles for hard sticks.
• Draw blood from infants and pediatric patients when necessary.
• Process and handle blood specimens according to established protocols.

Essential Skills

• 3 years of experience in phlebotomy with daily use of straight needles.
• Proficiency in drawing blood.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with infant and pediatric blood draws is a plus.

Work Environment

This position involves working 27.5 hours per week. The shift is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 11:30 am, with a rotating Saturday shift from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The work location is inside a medical office building. There are no holidays or vacation days on the contract side, but paid time off is available upon permanent employment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00
