Job Title: Phlebotomist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and proficiently performing blood draws and specimen collections. You will be handling 25-30 patients per day and utilizing your computer skills to ensure accurate data entry. There is potential for this position to become permanent, though not necessarily at the same office location.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Essential Skills

• Phlebotomy experience of 2 years
• Proficient in blood draw and specimen collection
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to handle 25-30 patients per day

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in data entry and processing billing information
• Ability to perform administrative and clerical duties
• Willingness to travel to additional sites as needed

Work Environment

You will be working at a well-known diagnostic company with hours from Monday to Thursday, 8am-5pm, and Friday, 8am-12pm. The role involves a professional setting where providing excellent patient care is paramount. The work environment is supportive, and there is potential for growth within the company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
