Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Maricopa, AZ. This is a temporary role to cover for leave, with the potential to turn into a permanent position. The role requires a professional with experience in phlebotomy, specimen processing, and customer service. You will be working in a Patient Service Center (PSC) setting, providing essential healthcare and laboratory services.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws and specimen collection for pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients.
- Process specimens accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure all specimens are correctly labeled and handled according to established protocols.
Essential Skills
- Phlebotomy experience outside of school and externships.
- Specimen processing skills.
- Strong customer service abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients.
- Ability to handle and draw blood samples efficiently.
Work Environment
You will be working in a Patient Service Center (PSC) setting, located in Maricopa, AZ. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This role offers the opportunity to work in one of the largest healthcare and laboratory service providers in Arizona, with hundreds of clinics and 12 hospital locations. The dress code and facility conditions will align with standard healthcare and laboratory environments.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
