Job Title: Plant Manager
Job Description
The Plant Manager is responsible for project management, labor force utilization, process troubleshooting and leadership to the production, maintenance, engineering and warehouse team to drive continuous improvement in the plant.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates Direct and coordinate plant production, operations, and personnel.
- Monitors production and facilities equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Analyzes production, maintenance, and inventory reports to ensure optimal plant operation.
- Leads efficient new design and/or corrective action implementation projects and provides continuous improvement ideas via Six Sigma practices.
- Troubleshoots electrical and controls related issues for equipment and the facilities.
- Provides engineering technical support across departments including but not limited to PLC code, electrical controls, process, and warehouse equipment.
- Manages employee work schedules for workforce optimization.
- Writes procedures to ensure proper processes are followed.
- Directs preventive maintenance and safety programs.
- Performs every aspect of the job following safety rules and policies.
- Ensures adherence to company policy with verbal or written warnings.
Additional Qualifications:
- Engineering degree isn't a requirement as it can be replaced with 8-10 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Pay scale is flexible depending on experience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $140000.00
