Job Title: PLC Programmer
Job Description
This is a role based in Oklahoma for a PLC Programmer. The position involves in-office programming, field service support, and development of small to mid-size water and wastewater treatment applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and program SCADA PLC systems (Allen Bradley).
- Implement serial, fiber optic, radio, and cellular communications.
- Design and configure graphic applications for OIT, HMI, and SCADA systems.
- Assist with the development of programming standards.
- Provide startup and troubleshooting support for field service technicians.
- Make minor changes and implement them in the field as a PLC Technician.
- Create wiring diagrams, program, and start up field instruments, and develop PLC programming for HMI SCADA/Wonderware or C-More systems.
- Work with pressure meters, flow meters, analyzers, online field instruments, and level meters.
- Develop and field experience for mid-level tasks in the manufacturing background.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in PLC programming with Allen Bradley.
- Experience in HMI development.
- Field experience in PLC programming.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access).
- Understanding of computer networking.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Innovative mindset with a strong desire to learn additional skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Commitment to multi-discipline teamwork and a positive attitude.
- Ability to perform on-site startup and support services.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with field instruments such as pressure meters, flow meters, analyzers, online field instruments, and level meters.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
