Job Description
The Global Emissions Engineering Manager will lead the development of exhaust aftertreatment systems for gasoline, diesel, and hybrid vehicle applications. You will define aftertreatment systems to meet worldwide regulatory vehicle emission standards and align with program performance objectives and durability requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Define and establish engineering specifications for exhaust aftertreatment systems
- Develop and maintain catalyst prints, engineering specifications, and cost assumptions for various catalyst types
- Lead supplier meetings to enhance manufacturing processes and perform audits of manufacturing facilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver program-specific designs within timing and cost constraints
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- 5 years of experience in powertrain engineering, preferably in exhaust aftertreatment systems
- Strong knowledge of emissions regulations and standards
