Job Title: Process Development Engineer

Job Description

The Process Development Engineer is primarily responsible for leading a functional project engineering group within the department, which consists of multiple engineering disciplines. This role involves the design, development, documentation, and validation of new customer products, as well as the modification of existing products. Responsibilities include defining requirements, timelines, and deliverables with a focus on prototypes, process development, design verification, clinical builds, training production, and preparation for process validation and manufacturing transfer of products.

Responsibilities

• Lead a functional project engineering group within the department.
• Design, develop, document, and validate new customer products.
• Modify existing products to meet new requirements.
• Define requirements, timelines, and deliverables for projects.
• Focus on prototypes, process development, and design verification.
• Conduct clinical builds and train production teams.
• Prepare for process validation and manufacturing transfer of products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field
• 5-10 years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to fully interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and illustrations
• Strong analytical skills for obtaining, evaluating, and applying secondary research information
• Ability to learn and apply new technology
• Experience in technical report preparation
• Good small group presentation skills

Work Environment

The work environment includes the use of various technologies and equipment relevant to engineering and manufacturing processes. Employees will work standard hours with occasional shifts to meet project deadlines. The facility maintains a professional dress code.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
