What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
Process Development: Develops the processing specification and parameters for products using compound rheology and other relative process data and works with Production Supervision to ensure the product is meeting all internal and external customer requirements.
Process Troubleshooting: Analyses production processes and troubleshoots to identify the root cause of the non-conformance identified, taking into consideration equipment, tools, process conditions/settings, materials, and techniques, by working through the steps needed to go from first piece to production.
Process Support: Participates with the Operations Team, Quality and Engineering on Continuous Improvement initiatives and in real-time problem solving of issues that can and will affect throughput, product quality, Tool design, fixture and deliveries.
