Job Title: Process Engineer

Job Description

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for line improvements and documentation such as PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions. You will communicate with production teams and maintenance to ensure lines are running efficiently. Additionally, you will train team members in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), problem-solving, and continuous improvement techniques such as 5S, TPM, and SMED. Regular audits will be conducted to maintain these procedures. You will also train supervisors and team members on equipment issues and processes. This role requires availability for on-call support to resolve issues either over the phone or in person.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred (Ceramics, Mechanical, Industrial, Material Science)
• Problem-solving skills
• Glass manufacturing experience
• High initiative and ability to learn and dive into problems with little direction
• 2 years in a manufacturing engineering role
• Automotive manufacturing experience
• Automation background (ABB/Fanuc robots)
• Six Sigma certification

Work Environment

This position operates on an 8 AM to 5 PM schedule from Monday to Friday, within a 24/7 facility. The work environment is non-climate controlled, and long-sleeve protection and steel-toed shoes are required when on the floor. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
