Job Title: Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, production, and quality assurance, to develop and implement new products or processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.
• Manage and oversee the implementation of new equipment, technologies, and automation systems to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and guidance to resolve complex manufacturing issues, troubleshoot problems, and optimize production output.

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, including powder coat, machining, fabrication, and automation.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in manufacturing operations.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to drive process improvements and optimization.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Management or equivalent experience in a manufacturing engineering field. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 2 years of industry experience with a solid command of manufacturing processes, including powder coating, machining, fabricating, and automation.
• Experience in aluminum extrusion is preferred, but other forms of extrusion will be considered.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement objectives.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally with production and operators to ensure timely completion and within budget results for end customers.

Work Environment

You will work directly with the GM, Process Engineers, and the Plant Manager as well as the general production workers. Most of your time will be spent out in the plant. This is not a climate-controlled environment, but it is very clean despite some dust from the aluminum extrusion process.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
