About the Role
Actalent is seeking a skilled Production Specialist to join our team in Sullivan, Illinois. As a key member of our product support team, you will be responsible for assisting CNC setup operators, processing ECNs, controlling costs, and reducing cycle and task times.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist CNC setup operators with equipment maintenance and programming
- Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and implement changes
- Monitor and control production costs to ensure efficiency
- Analyze and improve cycle and task times to increase productivity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering-related field or technical school degree
- Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing setting
- Ability to read and write G and M code
- Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with Autodesk CAD/CAM software (NX CAM a plus)
- Quality experience - gauge selection, gauge planning, CMM programming
- Pneumatics/hydraulics skills
- CAD skills: 2D & 3D
