Job Title: Project Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Project Architect with a degree in architecture from an accredited university and a minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination. The ideal candidate is familiar with all phases of design, construction documentation, and construction observation, and proficient in Revit. Presentation skills, including 3D renderings and walk-through animations, are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs for high-quality healthcare projects.
• Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships.
• Prepare renderings and documentation for client presentations.

Essential Skills

• Healthcare project experience or relatable commercial projects.
• Core & Shell / Base Building Experience.
• 5 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Ability to obtain a license with a plan to do so in the near future.
• Revit proficiency, with the ability to produce full construction document sets independently or manage healthcare projects independently.
• Experience in all project phases from Schematic Design (SD) to Construction Administration (CA).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Presentation skills including 3D renderings and walk-through animation.
• Experience with K-12 projects is a plus.
• Strong project management, drafting, and production skills.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position with the ideal candidate located in northern NJ due to project locations. The consultant will travel to job sites 1-2 days a week in New Jersey, New York, and Long Island. Once a week, the consultant will meet in a shared office space convenient for them. The current team consists of 22 people. The work environment involves collaboration with other offices, sharing resources, and working on the same projects. The firm offers ownership tracks faster than most due to its small size, pays for exams pass or fail, and provides NCARB certification support. Employees can work from home one day a week, with summer hours starting in June (9 AM - Thursday, out by noon on Friday). Once permanent, the 401k plan is Safe Harbor, contributing 3% whether you contribute or not.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $62.50/hr.
