Job Title: Equipment Project Coordinator

Job Description

We are hiring for a project coordinator to work within the Equipment Project Management department. The main role will be supporting project managers on project milestones and project data. This includes supporting global and regional projects by accurately creating and tracking Request for Quotes (RFQ), and purchase requisitions for equipment in North America. The coordinator will request components and labor through the SAP system, creating and tracking purchase requisitions throughout the maturation phase of a project. The role requires liaising between Purchasing, Project Managers, outside suppliers, and various departments to coordinate essential tasks and maintain accurate documentation for business processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tracking of all current project business requirements for RFQs, requisitions, POs, SOWs, ECNs, and invoices for the Equipment Production Department.
• Create and manage templates, populate templates for RFS and SOW with project data, and provide Quality In Process checks to minimize errors and ensure consistency.
• Track, summarize, and communicate order tracking for parts and services in support of project teams, working with the P&M Department.
• Utilize Ariba Guided Buying and SAP software to provide quality checks and efficiency improvements while issuing purchase requisitions and processing invoices.
• Issue documents to North American Indirect Procurement and Production Engineering Procurement.
• Provide mentorship and training related to procurement and parts tracking processes to communicate best practices to department associates.
• Coordinate tracking of budget for expense and capital projects within the Equipment Production Department.
• Support resource planning and workload data entry and system management.

Work Environment

This role is within the Production Engineering department. It is a long-term contract to hire opportunity, initially slated for 6 months. The work environment involves using advanced technologies and systems such as SAP and Ariba Guided Buying, with a focus on efficiency and quality improvement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
