Job Title: Program Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Program Engineer who is a ITAR compliant, holding a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering field. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a related aviation field and possess strong program/project management skills. The role requires an understanding of, or experience with, electrical and electromechanical products. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential. The candidate must be organized, focused, results-oriented, and a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the internal technical interface between engineering and the customer, either directly and/or through the sales account manager.
• Create, collect, consolidate, and/or summarize technical data to meet customer requirements and deliverables.
• Drive projects to meet company and engineering time, cost, and requirements targets.
• Serve as the gatekeeper for intellectual property (IP) in accordance with company policy.
• Support new sales efforts by reviewing proposal requirements and determining compliance.
• Work closely with engineering project managers and teams to assess status and represent progress to sales account managers and customers.
• Provide product-level expertise on functions, features, qualifications, and capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the proposal process to completion.

Essential Skills

• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a related aviation field
• Strong program/project management skills
• Understanding of, or experience with electrical and electromechanical products
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Organized, focused, and results-oriented
• Problem-solving, critical thinking, and prioritizing skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of aviation certification (Type Certificate and Supplemental Type Certificates) and qualification topics
• Knowledge of aviation standards such as RTCA/DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461

Work Environment

The position is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, onsite with the client as a direct employee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
