Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to enter the construction field. This position offers exposure in working alongside some of the top construction companies in the Hampton Roads, VA.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial development projects throughout Hampton Roads.
• Maintain daily logs.
• Schedule and monitor the work of subcontractors and Punch Out Personnel.
• Plan daily allocation of resources and materials.
• Manage laborers.
• Identify quality discrepancies and ensure timely and proper completion of repairs.
• Assist Superintendents.
• Execute documents.
• Coordinate materials.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction, construction management, commercial construction
• Experience as a project engineer, assistant superintendent, assistant project manager, or field engineer.
• Strong reliability, work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and implement construction software.
• Ability to get hands dirty and learn the roles of Superintendent or Project Manager.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00
