Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on project documentation, managing vendor and subcontractor relations, providing field support, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring effective communication with owners and engineers. The position is a career-path opportunity in project management or estimating.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and submit project schedules using various scheduling software.
• Obtain previous days’ time/production sheets and required paperwork from the field.
• Enter productions on a daily basis to provide payroll, job costing, and production P&L reports for the Project Manager.
• Prepare vendor and subcontractor price evaluations and recommendations for buyout.
• Draft subcontracts in the company standard form for approval by project managers.
• Use working knowledge of project scope and requirements to assist project managers and field supervisors in work planning and field support.
• Monitor contract progress and payments.
• Provide field production monitoring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• An Associate’s Degree in construction management, construction technology, or civil engineering (Bachelor’s Degree is preferred)
• 2 years of paid construction project or field engineering, administration, or management experience

Work Environment

Candidates will need to drive to Niagara Falls, NY. The work environment involves both office and field settings, requiring frequent travel to project sites. The role demands a combination of desk work and on-site visits, ensuring that project specifications and timelines are met effectively.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $34.62
