Job Title: Project Engineer II

Job Description

The Project Engineer II is responsible for supporting the Project Manager and other project team members in executing activities to support the construction of assigned projects. This role ensures that work performed aligns with project objectives and the requirements of the construction documents. Key responsibilities include bidding support, submittal and RFI review processes, document control, verification of as-builts, quality control, site safety, equipment receiving processes, closeout documentation management, and cost management activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and project team members in executing construction activities.
• Ensure work performed conforms with project objectives and construction document requirements.
• Provide bid support and execute the submittal and RFI review process.
• Manage document control.
• Verify as-built documents.
• Support quality control and site safety initiatives.
• Execute the equipment receiving process.
• Manage closeout documentation.
• Support cost management activities.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Science, or Engineering.
• Minimum of four years of experience in the field.
• Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office suite.
• Competent in RFI/Submittal processing.
• Proficiency with mobile devices and VDC tools.

Work Environment

The role requires travel to project sites in Princeton, NJ and Malvern, PA. Candidates need to be comfortable traveling on-site and being present five days a week. A laptop and desk space in a trailer or office on-site will be provided. The first 50 miles of travel are at the candidate's expense, with reimbursement provided at the IRS rate for additional mileage.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr.
