Estimator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. You will analyze blueprints, plans, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Additionally, conducting site visits to gather necessary data for accurate estimates will be part of your role. You will track actual costs relative to bids as projects develop, prepare and submit financial documents, and present cost reports and forecasts to project managers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Analyze blueprints, plans, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Conduct site visits to gather necessary data for accurate estimates.
• Track actual costs relative to bids as projects develop.
• Prepare and submit financial documents.
• Prepare and present cost reports and forecasts to project managers and stakeholders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a construction estimator.
• Strong understanding of the construction process.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software

The role requires working 4 days a week in the office and 1 day remotely. You will be part of a fast-growing company that promotes from within.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $135000.00

Salary : $115,000 - $135,000
