Job Description
We are looking to fill a Project Manager position for our team in Virginia Beach. The Project Manager will work directly with the project team and handle submittals, closeouts, filings, contracts, and subcontractor management.
Responsibilities
- Manage project submittals, closeouts, filings, contracts, and subcontractors.
- Send and track all RFIs.
- Send out all field clarifications, ASIs, and other RFPs issued by the owner.
- Send out inspection reports to all appropriate subcontractors.
- Attend meetings.
- Write all purchase orders, subcontracts, and maintain the contract status log.
- Maintain buyout log.
- Assist with submittals.
- Complete closeout procedures.
- Project coordination.
- Document control.
- Contract administration.
Essential Skills
- Experience as a Construction Project Manager in commercial, retail, healthcare, education, or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, including construction drawings, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project and P6.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project demands.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- PMP and LEED Certifications preferred.
Work Environment
The role will be office-based with varying hours, mainly from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The Project Manager will work directly with the project team. This larger-scale construction company specializes in both the federal and commercial space along the east coast. The company offers competitive pay, 8 days starting PTO, all paid holidays, and a family-oriented environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
