We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Project Superintendent to lead the daily on-site construction operations for a large-scale federal renovation project valued at $30,000,000 . The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of verifiable experience supervising complex government construction projects of comparable or larger size and scope, including work under US Air National Guard, Air Force, USACE, NAVFAC, VA, or other federal agencies. This role requires deep expertise in federal construction processes, jobsite logistics, phasing coordination, quality and safety enforcement, and strong leadership skills to manage both subcontractors and internal crews in a high-stakes environment with mission-critical constraints. Key Responsibilities: • Provide full-time on-site supervision for all phases of construction, ensuring work progresses according to the approved schedule, drawings, and specifications. • Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, SSHO, and QCM to maintain alignment with safety, quality, and performance standards. • Manage daily subcontractor activities, site access, and ensure all trades perform in compliance with USACE/NAVFAC contract requirements, EM 385-1-1, and OSHA standards. • Develop and lead daily site meetings and weekly coordination meetings with field personnel, subcontractors, and federal agency representatives. • Maintain accurate daily reports, field documentation, and photos; proactively identify and mitigate schedule impacts or field conflicts. • Monitor and enforce compliance with approved submittals, RFIs, changes, and quality control procedures. • Oversee site logistics planning, laydown, deliveries, and access around secure and occupied facilities. • Ensure proper execution of temporary protection, utility interruptions, shutdowns, and restoration work in collaboration with base personnel and stakeholders. • Participate in three-phase quality control inspections and enforce jobsite safety at all times. • Collaborate in project closeout, punch list management, and turnover documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
o Minimum 10 years of experience serving as a Superintendent on federal construction projects of $30,000,000 in contract value. o Extensive knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC construction protocols, including EM 385-1-1, quality control systems, and site safety practices. o Demonstrated success managing renovations, phased construction, and work in occupied federal or military facilities. o Proven leadership and communication skills with ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of subcontractors and vendors. o Strong scheduling skills (Primavera P6 or MS Project) and ability to track and manage progress against critical path. o Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical specifications, and contract documents. Preferred Qualifications: Experience on hangar, secure military, aviation, or high-complexity vertical construction projects. OSHA 30-Hour Certification. First Aid/CPR Certification. Knowledge of RMS/QCS reporting systems and federal documentation practices. Military base access eligibility Working Conditions: Full-time on-site presence required for the duration of the project. Work may require early hours, overtime, and occasional night or weekend shifts to meet schedule milestones or accommodate federal facility restrictions. Must be physically capable of walking, climbing, and inspecting all areas of the project site.

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $63.00/hr.
