Job Description:
As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of mid to large-size commercial construction projects. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve coordinating the work of subcontractors, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and overseeing the project budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the operations of construction sites from planning to completion.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Manage and supervise construction workers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate and oversee all work on site.
- Review and monitor project progress for timely completion.
- Develop scope of work for subcontractors.
- Prepare and distribute subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Provide all construction drawings and documents for field use.
- Prepare and maintain construction schedules.
- Process, approve, and code invoices.
- Assist job superintendent with issues that may arise.
- Prepare and process owner and subcontractor change orders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, managing mid to large size commercial construction projects.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
