Actalent is hiring an Entry Level Lab Technician for a great opportunity working for a Food and Beverage manufacturing company!

Responsibilities

• Make and sterilize media for testing
• Enforce all food safety and quality procedures.
• Weekly and monthly plant environmental testing
• Maintain calibration for all lab equipment
• About 70% in the lab and 30% on the production floor. 
• Responsible for taking samples from production and running various testing on raw and finished product.
• Must be comfortable with standing, climbing and lifting up to 25lbs.
• This is a manufacturing environment. This is not a clean lab, it's a small lab that is climate controlled, but the production floor it not climate controlled.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in laboratory and food processing.
• Knowledge in wet chemistry, titration, analytical chemistry, batch records, and FDA regulations.
• Understanding of quality assurance, food science, chemistry, and biology.

The work environment includes both laboratory and manufacturing settings. The role involves using advanced laboratory equipment and adhering to strict safety and testing procedures. The position offers job stability, benefits, and full-time employment in a national juice manufacturing company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
