Job Title: QA Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated QA Lab Technician to ensure the quality of our finished products through thorough review and testing. This role involves performing mycotoxin testing, product appearance checks, sample preparation for additional testing, weekly scale calibration, environmental monitoring swabbing, and running ELISA testing methodology. The ideal candidate will document results and lab notes in Excel and participate in additional small projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Review finished products for quality defects
• Perform all DON testing (mycotoxin testing)
• Conduct appearance checks on products
• Prepare samples (grinding) for additional testing such as ash, protein, moisture
• Calibrate scales weekly
• Conduct environmental monitoring swabbing (EMP)
• Run ELISA testing methodology
• Document results and lab notes in Excel
• Work on additional small projects as assigned

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
