Job Description
Assist in all aspects of Food Safety and Quality Systems programs. Ensure regulatory accuracy of printed materials by adjusting labels using systems/processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily QA walk-throughs using a checklist.
- Ensure production standards and proper documentation are followed.
- Review HACCP and SOP paperwork; notify supervisors for corrective actions and follow-up.
- Calibrate in-house thermometers as scheduled.
- Monitor line washing for cleanliness, water temperatures, and ATP analysis.
- Assist in daily sensory evaluations and follow-up.
- Perform and document routine finished product inspections.
- Record information on products and pull samples from the warehouse as needed.
- Assist with corrective actions for customer complaints and quality concerns.
- Promote food safety and maintain high-quality standards.
- Collect micro and swap samples as needed.
- Abide by all safety regulations and perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1.5 years of industry experience (preferably within Food Manufacturing)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
