Job Title: QC Analyst

Job Description

The QC Analyst is responsible for performing analytical chemistry examination testing on raw materials, finished products, and stability samples in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or USP methods. The role involves supporting QC leadership with planning and coordination of activities within the lab.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical testing, chemical, or microbiological analysis of raw materials, finished products, stability, and special samples.
• Document and submit all raw data and results in LIMS.
• Prepare reagents for chemical analysis.
• Perform stability testing on solid and liquid dosages.
• Audit data for lot disposition.
• Verify, validate, and transfer methods for new products.
• Perform UPLC, GC, ICP-MS analysis of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples.
• Support QC Systems Admin activities (Empower, LIMS, Trackwise).
• Prepare and review validation/verification protocols.
• Train new analysts.
• Lead laboratory OOS and OOT investigations.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with HPLC, UPLC, and GC systems.
• Experience with GMP and dissolution testing.
• Familiarity with Empower 3.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• 3 years of experience in a relevant field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, microbiology, or other related science with relevant laboratory coursework.
• Proficiency with microbiological or analytical chemistry testing.

Work Environment

The QC Analyst will work the first shift from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm or the second shift from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The team consists of about 10 members. The dress code is business casual, and daily gowning up is expected. The company is rapidly growing and offers a dynamic and busy environment, with numerous opportunities for professional growth.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $44.00
