Pay: $33 -38/hr
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Description:
This individual supervises exempt and non-exempt Microbiology staff. Oversees’ and guides the Microbiology Team in method development, new technology, routine QC testing, environmental programs, and/or metrology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and oversight of testing and release of laboratory testing.
- Initiates and completes laboratory investigations to their closure.
- Conducts training for direct reports and takes part in needed training to perform job function.
- Provides performance based feedback to direct reports, including completion of annual performance reviews.
- Provides support to R&D lab.
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Able to assimilate complex information to evaluate the impact and acceptability of microorganisms found in materials, product or the facility.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in science - ideally microbiology
- 5 years of experience within a lab setting
- Experience within a GMP environment and QC lab setting
- Experience in USP AET testing, environmental monitoring programs and microbiological assays
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46/hr.
