QC Micro/Environmental Monitoring Technician
Night/Weekend shift with several hours of OT daily
Description
• Performing environmental monitoring (surface monitoring, viable air monitoring, non-viable particulate monitoring) in controlled, classified manufacturing areas. May also perform personnel monitoring.
• Perform sampling of critical utilizes (feed water, reverse osmosis water, water-for-injection, pure steam, compressed gases).
• Will also complete autoclaving of laboratory supplies and perform general laboratory maintenance duties.
• Gowning required- gown up to go into the various manufacturing areas.
• Will perform record keeping duties (manual and electronic) in conformance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Computer skills required (Microsoft Office)
• Prior experience in biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Prior EM or lab experience preferred- EM experience and/or experience and/or knowledge of aseptic manufacturing operations.
• Degree in associated science field preferred (willing to take ample EM experience in lieu of degree)
Overnight/3rd shift Wed-Sat – rotate Saturdays every other week

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $43.00/hr.
