Job Description
As a QC Technologist, you will conduct all standard QC testing procedures including Solaris rapid microbial testing, perform QC equipment checks, follow up on root cause/corrective actions, and sample raw materials for QC.
Responsibilities
- Conduct all standard QC testing procedures including Solaris rapid microbial testing.
- Perform QC equipment checks.
- Follow up on root cause/corrective actions.
- Sample raw materials for QC.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or Microbiology.
- 3-5 years of sensory experience.
- 8 years of QC experience.
- Experience in a leadership or training role.
- Proficiency in microbiology testing including Solaris rapid testing, petri test, etc.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Business-oriented mindset.
- Professionalism and likability.
- Experience in the flavor, fragrance, food, or pharmaceutical industry.
Work Environment
The work environment consists of 60% lab work and 40% office and documentation tasks.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Avenel,NJ.
