Job Title: Quality Assurance Quality Control (QA-QC) Inspector II
Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Quality Control (QA-QC) Inspector II to join our team in Branchburg, NJ. This role involves performing visual inspections for incoming human cadaver tissue and subsequent reviews to ensure specification requirements are met for further processing. The inspector will also be responsible for data entry on paper batch records as well as in SAP (ERP), quarantine activities, cycle counts, inventory management, and cross-functional communication with multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and receive human and porcine tissue
- Review batch records and perform data entry
- Conduct cleaning, cycle counts, and product/tissue quarantine activities
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable procedures, regulations, and specifications
- Support departmental needs such as data trending, audit SME support, and documentation updates
- Provide technical support to teams and cross-functional teams
- Identify, coordinate, and implement 5S and Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives
- Resolve issues or nonconformance encountered with cross-functional teams
- Assist in documentation updates and related change control activities
- Perform actions for Exception Reports (ERs), CAPAs, Supplier Related ERs, LIRs, and Change Controls (ECOs)
Essential Skills
- 5 years of experience in a cGMP, GDP, ISO, FDA regulated industry
- Advanced computer skills with a high knowledge of Windows-based systems
- Familiarity with cGMPs, AATB Standards, ISO, FDA, and USP regulatory guidelines
- Experience with SAP (ERP)
- Basic knowledge of statistical techniques and quality tools
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to carry and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work varied schedules, including potential weekend, early morning, or late evening hours
- Comfortable working with human and porcine raw materials and finished goods
- Ability to work in lab, warehouse, and manufacturing settings
- Willing to work with potentially biohazardous materials, including cadaveric tissue
- Ability to walk, lift, bend, squat, stoop, stretch, sit, and stand for long periods
- Capability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks under critical time constraints
- Computer proficiency and scheduling experience
- Good writing skills
Work Environment
This role operates in a cGMP, GDP, ISO, FDA regulated USP environment. The shift is Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
