Supplier Quality Management – QA Specialist

This role is part of the Supplier Quality Management (SQM) group in support of GMP document authoring / revision and supplier management. As a member of the SQM team, the role incumbent has GMP Quality experience assessing supplier’s compliance and/or raw material quality. The role requires a high attention to detail, to be organized in their work, strong written and verbal communication skills and working well independently and in teams.

*This position is a 3 month project for our client in Redmond. This will be a Hybrid role working out of Redmond but could be a fully remote position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Create/revise raw material dossiers and material specifications within the electronic document system (eDMS).
• Interface with internal and external suppliers/clients to request/obtain required material and supplier documentation, establish supplier to supplier agreements, and perform general customer inquiries.
• Perform actions associated with Change Control documents, Nonconformance's, and supplier deviations.
• Provide updates to Supplier Records.
• Support Supplier Quality projects, as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a Scientific/Engineering degree and 1 year of relevant supplier quality experience OR Associate’s degree and 3 years of relevant supplier quality experience OR High school diploma / GED and 5 years of relevant supplier quality experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a biopharmaceutical/Pharmaceutical cGMP manufacturing or similar environment.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate cross-functionally.
• Proven attention to detail.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulatory requirements – ICH, FDA, EMA.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, or medical device industry.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and written with supplier and internal personnel in a professional manner.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
