Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role involves monitoring and updating existing HACCP, SOP, and QA programs, procedures, and document control programs. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, especially during slower periods, to assist colleagues as needed.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and update existing HACCP, SOP, and QA programs, procedures, and document control programs.
- Record and analyze statistical data, recommending modifications, or suggesting new standards, methods, and procedures.
- Implement quality assurance programs that effectively monitor product manufacturing in compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and HACCP.
Essential Skills
- Experience working within QA or Document Control.
- Knowledge of GMP and SOP.
- Strongly preferred HACCP knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is nice but not required.
Work Environment
The position is located in a food manufacturing environment, with a first shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The company is growing significantly, and management encourages open communication and questions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
