Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the lab and equipment, preparing and handling samples, and conducting a variety of tests to ensure the quality of our products. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, precision, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the lab and equipment.
- Prepare dilutions of milk samples, including the use of chemicals when necessary.
- Verify the success of pasteurization by plating samples for E. coli and bacteria testing.
- Incubate samples as part of the testing process.
- Conduct in-house water testing (city water).
- Perform sensory testing, including visual, olfactory, and taste assessments of milk, chocolate milk, and ice cream on a daily basis.
- Pack and label samples for external testing and distribution.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
