Actalent is hiring for a Quality Specialist! This role will be responsible for the following:
Description
- Assures quality of incoming materials and incoming finished goods.
- Implements test methods, procedures and analyses
- Assures the correctness & accuracy of material documentation (CERTs/COMs)
- Releases or holds material based on recorded inspection results.
- Ensures Quarantine of Suspect Quality materials
- Works with management a to find possible resolutions for the continued use of suspect materials
- Provides support for various areas on-site and acts as a Global Quality Materials Inspection (GQMI) representative
- Responsible for data collection and analysis
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of associate degree preferred in STEM related field and/or equivalent manufacturing/quality experience.
- Computer skills required.
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office and its components.
- 1 to 2 years LIMS and/or SAP experience preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
