Quality Control Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team. This position requires working the 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday (11:00pm-7:30am). The ideal candidate will perform various wet chemistry tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished products, as well as conduct sustainability tests and routine benchtop testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform wet chemistry tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished products.
• Conduct sustainability tests.
• Perform routine benchtop testing, including titration, viscosity, pH, HPLC, density, microbial testing, and GC.
• Collect samples from the production floor for testing.
• Communicate between departments as necessary.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in chemistry and laboratory techniques.
• Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Knowledge of wet chemistry and titration.
• Experience in quality control and analytical chemistry.
• Familiarity with chemical and microbiological testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, or related field).
• Basic understanding of chemistry testing.
• Basic computer skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $21.53/hr.
