Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have the responsibility and authority to approve or reject all raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. This role includes performing routine sampling and inspection of all manufactured products and incoming materials, as well as documenting results completely and accurately according to applicable Specifications, Test Methods, and Standard Operating Procedures. Additionally, the technician will perform environmental monitoring of aseptic filling operations and facility utilities as required by procedure.

Responsibilities

• Approve or reject all raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Perform routine sampling and inspection of all manufactured products and incoming materials.
• Document results completely and accurately according to applicable Specifications, Test Methods, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform environmental monitoring of aseptic filling operations and facility utilities as required by procedure.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of cGMP, GMP, GDP, and IPC documentation.
• Experience with Chemistry, Microbiology, environmental monitoring, and pH probes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a cGMP environment, preferably in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, and/or Health Care Industry.
• At least six months of IPC documentation experience.
• High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree in sciences preferred.

Work Environment

The position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3 pm. The role involves spending time both on the manufacturing floor and in the lab. On the floor, the technician will assist with running 7 lines and documenting activities. In the lab, the responsibilities include conducting chemistry testing and environmental monitoring.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
