Job Title: Nuclear Quality Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Engineer (QE) with over 5 years of experience to join our team for an exciting new task order. The successful candidate will develop a fabrication plan for a nuclear glovebox and will monitor the quality of the product throughout its full lifecycle. This role does not involve direct interaction with radioactive materials but requires collaboration with all disciplines involved in the product lifecycle including procurement, design, production, and testing.
Responsibilities
- Develop a fabrication plan for a nuclear glovebox.
- Monitor the quality of the product throughout its full lifecycle.
- Interact with all stages of the product lifecycle, including procurement, design, production, and testing.
- Work collaboratively with all disciplines on the team.
Essential Skills
- 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
- Proficiency with AS9100 and ISO9001 standards.
- Experience in quality engineering and GD&T.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and develop inspection plans.
- Experience in nuclear quality engineering and lean manufacturing methodologies including Six Sigma and Kaizen.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CGD (commercial grade dedications), ASME Section III, NQA-1, and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B.
- Nuclear is strongly preferred, but candidates with strong AS9100/ISO9001 knowledge will be considered and trained in the nuclear aspect.
- NQA-1 knowledge is strongly preferred.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
