Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description
Provides a broad range of Quality support for achieving business objectives including contract review, requirements dissemination and allocation, facilitating Corrective Action/Supplier corrective action events, and implementing process improvements. Monitor all non-conformances and trend data to seek like occurrences. Conduct quality improvement activities to strive for zero defects. As a member of the Quality Team, you will provide full service support to operations and supply chain to drive a quality and compliance culture that exemplifies our Group Values. Provide Continuous Improvement coaching and development across the facility. Develop detailed trend and performance analytics to prevent issues from occurring or recurring. Facilitate the development and continuous improvement of the quality program.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality support to achieve business objectives.
- Review contracts and disseminate requirements.
- Facilitate Corrective Action and Supplier Corrective Action events.
- Implement process improvements.
- Monitor non-conformances and trend data.
- Conduct quality improvement activities to achieve zero defects.
- Support operations and supply chain to drive quality and compliance culture.
- Provide Continuous Improvement coaching and development.
- Develop detailed trend and performance analytics.
- Facilitate the development and continuous improvement of the quality program.
Essential Skills
- Quality engineering experience with at least 1 year as a Quality Engineer.
- Experience with corrective action plans and AS9100.
- Root cause analysis and non-conformance management.
- Experience working with Tier 1 Aerospace and Defense clients.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, ISO 9001, and quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with Tier 1 aerospace/defense suppliers.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- ITAR compliance and US citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and production teams.
Work Environment
You will work in a very clean and organized production floor environment, closely collaborating with other members of different departments. The Quality Engineering team currently consists of 8 people and is expected to grow to 12 by the end of the year. The environment is fast-paced and tight-knit, offering potential for direct placement upon the completion of the contract position.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
