Description
We are seeking a part-time quality engineer to perform quality assurance during the engineering product development lifecycle for airborne systems in accordance with DO-254 and DO-178C.
• Assuring that plans and standards are properly defined, implemented, and adhered to.
• Assuring Engineering software and hardware product development and verification activities are executed in compliance with approved plans and standards.
• Monitoring process execution to confirm that design, verification and validation activities follow documented design assurance level.
• Conducting audits and reviews to identify and track process deviations, deficiencies, or non-compliances that affect quality, including positive and negative trends and corrective actions.
• Providing objective evidence that engineering lifecycle activities are performed according to DO-178C and DO-254 requirements, supporting certification efforts.
• Communicating deviations to Engineering for correction.
• Ensuring that significant problems affecting quality are resolved before release.
• Supporting configuration management and verification traceability by ensuring proper documentation and artifact generation

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
