Quality Lab Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality control testing on finished product materials and incoming raw materials. This role involves running various tests, working with laboratory instrumentation, assisting with certificates of analysis, and data entry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control testing on finished product materials and incoming raw materials.
- Run tests such as titrations, refractive index, viscosity, and sand testing.
- Utilize instrumentation including auto titrator, refractometer, and perform some GC (Gas Chromatography) work.
- Assist with preparing certificates of analysis and performing data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a science field.
- Knowledge in chemistry, biology, physics, and laboratory science.
- Proficiency in titrations, quality control, and sample testing.
- Experience with viscosity measurements, refractive index, and sand testing.
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments such as Brookfield viscometer, auto titrator, and refractometer.
- Understanding of GC (Gas Chromatography) techniques.
Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility, working within the quality lab.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
