Job Title: Quality Lead

Job Description

The main function of this role is to engage with quality technicians and production associates. You will monitor and document the entire shift, approximately every 15 minutes, manage documentation, check for and clarify quality deviations, and oversee product holds in alignment with quality standards. Additionally, you will assist with rework and equipment calibration, conduct ATP swabs, and perform allergen testing.

Essential Skills

• Quality assurance
• Knowledge of USDA and HACCP standards
• AS or BS in Food Science, Microbiology, or related STEM field
• 2-3 years of experience in food manufacturing quality
• Familiarity with FDA, USDA, PQCI, HACCP
• Technical knowledge for equipment calibration

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Applicable experience with HSD
• Experience in pizza production or Biopharma
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to guide and coach others as a leader

Work Environment

Candidates will be working on the production floor within the toppings and bakery department. The facility is divided into the toppings side with four lines (colder environment) and the bakery side with nine lines (warmer environment). There are around 100 people on each shift, all identified by helmet color. The environment is very clean, organized, and smells like pizza. Candidates must wear smocks, a hair net, beard net, hearing protection, hard hat, safety glasses, and non-slip shoes. Jewelry is not permitted. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday to Friday, 2pm-10:30pm, with occasional Saturday overtime as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
