Description:
The Quality Manager is responsible for the leadership of the quality function, and adherence to quality standards. This is a hands on role with key focuses in development and implementation of corporate strategy, technical performance, and process efficiency.
Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
Set QA compliance objectives and ensure targets are achieved.
Bring together staff of different disciplines and drive the group to plan, formulate, and agree on comprehensive quality procedures.
Assess the product specifications of the company and its suppliers
Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
Act as a liaison between customer and auditors to ensure the execution of corrective action, and compliance with customer specifications.
Establish standards of service for customers or clients.
Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood
Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
Collect and analyze performance data charts
Write technical and management systems reports.
MUST HAVES:
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience
- 5 years of Quality management experience
- 3 years managing of people
- Knowledge of automotive requirements or regulated environment (Aerospace/Medical Device)
- GD&T and dimensional layouts
- Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Knowledge of ISO:9001, ISO14000 or TSI 16949
- Corrective actions experience
- Previous project management experience
- Customer/supplier interaction experience
NICE TO HAVES:
Fasteners experience
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $58.00
