Job Title: Quality Specialist

Job Description

The Quality Specialist will have a variety of responsibilities to maintain overall quality within the manufacturing facility. This includes managing nonconformance/corrective actions, customer communication, return material authorizations, equipment calibration management, and Quality Management System (QMS) management.

Responsibilities

• Manage nonconformance and corrective actions to ensure quality standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding quality issues and resolutions.
• Handle return material authorizations efficiently and accurately.
• Manage equipment calibration to maintain operational standards.
• Oversee and manage the Quality Management System (QMS).

Essential Skills

• Quality experience in a manufacturing setting - 1 years, including internships or co-ops.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, automotive, or aerospace.

Work Environment

The role is based in an office environment within a manufacturing setting. The facility is very clean and organized, with recent investments in equipment and systems. The Quality Specialist will benefit from paid holidays (13) and two weeks of PTO accrued during the contract.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
