Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

The Quality Technician will work cross-functionally with production to quality test food-grade products. They will follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and perform tests including but not limited to pH, particle-size analysis, water and allergen testing, and environmental monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality tests on food-grade products following GMP.
• Perform pH, particle-size analysis, water, and allergen testing.
• Monitor environmental conditions.
• Document test results accurately and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Essential Skills

• Experience in quality assurance, laboratory, chemistry, and biology.
• Proficiency with pH meters and particle size analysis.
• Familiarity with environmental monitoring and allergen testing.
• Ability to follow SOPs and work independently.
• High attention to detail.
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related science OR no degree with 2 years of lab or quality control experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a cGMP or GMP environment.

Work Environment

The role involves working in both lab and production environments. The production floor may be a bit dusty at times. The position is for the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. There is a Quality Manager and one quality technician on each shift, with some overlap for shift handoff, but the Quality Technician will primarily work alone on the 2nd shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
