Job Title: R&D Manager

Job Description

The R&D Manager will lead and manage the R&D activities related to the development and optimization of culture media for microbiological, foodborne pathogens, and bioprocessing applications. They will formulate, test, and validate new culture media to meet the specific needs of customers in various industries including clinical diagnostics, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage R&D activities for the development and optimization of culture media.
• Formulate, test, and validate new culture media to meet specific customer needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in culture media development.
• Maintain detailed documentation and reports of R&D activities and results.

Essential Skills

• 5 years of experience in culture media development.
• Ph.D. or M.S. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry.
• Strong background in microbiology, chemistry, and R&D.
• Proven experience in developing culture media.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in clinical diagnostics, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Work Environment

The work environment is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The role offers an opportunity for autonomy and the potential to make a significant impact within the R&D team and the media department. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
