Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of radiologic technology and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures.
• Produce high-quality radiographs with a minimum of repeats while applying radiation and physical safety measures.
• Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
• Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam.
• Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
• Oversee duties assigned to student radiographers.
• Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in radiology, radiologic technology, X-ray, imaging, and scanning.
• Strong medical knowledge and customer service skills.
• Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the AMA.
• Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.
• BLS Certification

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle scheduling procedures

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30000.00 - $70595.20/yr.
