We are seeking a dental assistant or registered dental assistant to join our team to support one of LA's leading non-profit healthcare organizations. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced clinic setting with adults, focusing on dental assisting duties. Requirements
- Dental Assistant certification
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Ability to work between 7am-7pm, Monday-Saturday and float to four different locations in South LA
- 6 months of dental assistant experience

Job Description
- Payrate is starting at $32/hr for RDAs
- Prepare treatment room for patient
- Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist’s access; suctioning; passing instruments Provides materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient's mouth.
- Provides diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies, pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts
- Expose dental diagnostic x-rays
- Ensure the health history is updated
- Educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.
- Ensure operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; call for repairs, when necessary
- Fabricates temporary restorations or custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
- Makes preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $37.00
